A weekend of romance, where one couple may sit back, relax and enjoy the complete indulgence of just being together!

Arrive Friday evening and meet your hosts Penelope and Brian Marshall. They will show you to the Herritt Room where you can settle and prepare for the evening events. When you are ready, come downstairs to the living room where soft music, the glow from the fireplace and delicious hors d' oeuvres await you. The Marshall's will be working quietly in the background this weekend, aiming to give you both an opportunity to completely unwind from your hectic lives and take pleasure in being together.

The candle lit dinner is served in the beautifully elegant dining room, starting with a homemade soup, followed by salad, the main course and ending with a delicious dessert. A complimentary bottle of either red or white wine is yours to be enjoyed. Advanced notice will be required to accommodate any special dietary requests. If you wish, your tea or coffee can be served in the comfort of the living room.

Saturday morning begins with a hearty breakfast, starting with home baked pecan rolls, fresh fruit and followed by bacon and eggs with all the trimmings. The day is spent as you wish. You will find that in Burlington there is much to see and admire and if help is required in the decision-making, either Penelope or Brian can aid with their maps and brochures of local attractions.

On Saturday evening, you will be chauffeured to the West Plains Bistro, a delightful haunt, where the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the food positively outstanding! To make this evening even more special, a $50.00 gift certificate towards your dinner is also included. At a pre-arranged time, your ride will be waiting to drive you back to the Bed and Breakfast.

To help prepare you for your journey home, another hearty country breakfast with home baked 'goodies', will be ready Sunday morning. Check out time is 11:00 AM.
